However much it may sound offending, the unsophisticated public often takes the liberty to call them an unpleasant word “rednecks”. When it comes to owners of agricultural enterprises, most people imagine hard workers wearing checked shirts, with weathered faces and black soil under their nails.
Люди, заработавшие деньги в агропромышленном секторе, до сих пор остаются заложниками стереотипов. Во всяком случае, в Украине. Как бы обидно это ни звучало, неискушенная публика часто позволяет себе отпускать в их адрес неприятный термин «колхозник». Когда речь заходит о владельце сельскохозяйственного предприятия, у большинства перед глазами всплывает образ трудяги в клетчатой рубахе с черноземом под ногтями и обветренным лицом. Ни один из фигурантов составленного нами списка в этот образ не вписывается. Более того, практически никто из них не начинал свой путь к большому капиталу с фермерства.
